About Me

I believe story is everything, and post-production is where that story finds its rhythm. Editing goes beyond assembling shots—it’s about shaping pace, emotion, energy, and flow. Picture, motion design, music, and sound all work together to create the experience. Audio is especially powerful: great visuals can fall flat without it, while thoughtful sound design can elevate even the simplest imagery. The best work happens when every element serves the story.

At the end of the day, I’m a storyteller. Whether I’m cutting a commercial, building a brand piece, designing motion, or finding the right moment in hours of footage, I’m always looking for the thread that connects everything. Every cut, sound, movement, and frame should have a purpose.

I shape how the story unfolds, where the audience looks, and what stays with them after it ends.

Portfolio

Independent Work

This is a collection of work I’ve created over the years as an independent contractor. For the majority of these projects, I worked as a one-person production team—handling producing, directing, post-production, and final delivery. For projects involving live-action production, cinematography was handled by collaborating DPs where noted. Individual credits and roles are provided for each project.

Agency Work

These projects were created through the collaborative efforts of talented teams. I do not claim sole credit for any of the work shown. Agency and individual credits are provided for each project.

Gen AI Experiments

Generative AI will never replace true creativity, nor will it edit or motion design for us. At its core, it is a tool built upon the ingenuity and creative work of artists—many of whom never consented to having their work used to train it. AI is a tool, not a creator.

That said, I don’t shy away from exploring what these tools can offer when used with intention. Below are a selection of personal projects in which I’ve used generative AI primarily as a pre-visualization and storyboarding tool—exploring concepts, developing ideas, and visualizing projects I hope to bring to life through traditional production.

Story, Craft & Perspective

My multicultural background has shaped not only who I am, but how I approach creativity and storytelling. Born in Spain and raised in Germany, I spent much of my life immersed in different cultures and perspectives before leaving Europe to attend film school in San Francisco.

Culture is everything. Growing up internationally opened my eyes to how differently people can experience the same world. There is something incredibly fulfilling about seeing a story through someone else’s lens, understanding their perspective, experiences, and what resonates with them. It’s a perspective I bring into every edit, every story, and every creative decision I make.

With over seven years of creative agency experience and more than a decade as a freelancer, I’ve built my career around video editing, motion design, and sound design, while working across creative direction, video production, digital marketing, and campaign planning. I’ve helped take projects from early concepts and scripts through production, post-production, and final delivery, learning how to balance creative ambition with budgets, timelines, client expectations, and the realities of production.

Post-production is where I feel most at home. Editing is more than assembling footage. It’s finding the story, shaping the pacing, and understanding when to let a moment breathe. Motion design and sound design are extensions of that same process, adding movement, texture, rhythm, and emotion to create a more complete experience.

As a freelancer, I’ve worked closely with artists, record labels, startups, restaurants, and businesses, often taking an idea from a conversation all the way through to the finished product. Producing, directing, editing, designing, finishing, whatever the project needed. That independence taught me to adapt quickly, problem-solve, and find the strongest creative solution regardless of the circumstances.

Ultimately, I believe the best work comes from understanding people. Whether I’m editing, designing, directing, or collaborating with a larger creative team, I try to approach the work from perspectives beyond my own. My international upbringing taught me the value of that early on, and it continues to influence the way I tell stories today.

Story is king.
Always do what’s best for the work.
AI is a tool, not a substitute for creativity.
Husband. Father. Creative.
